Arwen Undomiel


Frodo saw her whom few mortals had yet seen; Arwen, daughter of Elrond, in whom it was said that the likeness of Lúthien had come on earth again; and she was called Undómiel, for she was the Evenstar of her people.


Nothing too much to write home about here! Just the metal Arwen from Games Workshop. Really pretty happy with how she turned out, but as usual my pictures don't do the work justice. The model is definitely a bit old and lackluster by today's standards, but it works. Edit- I will say the face is quite remarkable. The likeness is uncanny and it was a real joy to paint!



I 100% ganked the idea for the texture from a Google Image Search, and did a poor facsimile! Imitation is the highest form of flattery, I suppose. Credit to the original which is an absolute beautiful paint job.


Still, I got this done in a single day and I couldn't be happier with that result!

The game room overhaul

After a few years, it was time for a total game room overhaul. I had the space trying to pull triple duty with a couch/TV space, my office, and the game room. Frankly, it was feeling too cramped, looking too cluttered, and the TV was barely seeing any use. So, with the support of my fiancee (6 weeks till the big day! It's a big part of what's been keeping me so busy, dear readers) I did a complete overhaul of the game room.
